2009-10-18 Update: Live Blogging seats are now full!

Thank you to everyone who volunteered to live blog. We have over 125 people registered. If you simply MUST live blog, come and see me at the Live Media Booth on the floor or catch me at #ShareIndian and convince me I can't do this without you. I'm willing to listen. -- Mark

You can still tweet (#SPC09) or register as a Live Blog Follower.

Just because you can't live blog, doesn't mean you can't participate. For the tweet stream, use the #SPC09 hash and anything you tweet will be picked up. Check it out here to see it in real time.

Original Description

Ok, I've got too many things to keep track of, so I've set up this registration for those who want to help with live blogging at SharePoint Conference 2009 in Las Vegas, October 19 - 22. Register as a live blogger or a Twitterbug and I'll keep you informed as the date gets nearer.

New: We've added a Live Blog Follower ticket for those who can't attend the conference. Join this group and get free Digital Swag downloads.

What's an EndUserSharePoint.com live blogger?
I have setup a platform on the EndUserSharePoint.com site that will allow people to post directly to the blog in a constant live stream. When you attend a session, have your laptop open and type a paragraph or two. When you've got a little content, click the publish button and it will go directly into the live stream at EndUserSharePoint.com. With 25 of us doing together, we can get some nice coverage, With 100 of us, who knows?

What's a TwitterBug?
When you attend an event like SharePoint Conference 2009, there are a couple twitter hashes floating around. If you attach one of those hashes to a tweet, it will go into a specific tweet stream. We will be tracking all of the twitter hashes for this event. I've got two listed below. If you know of more, let me know.

An EndUserSharePoint.com TwitterBug is a specific kind of Tweet. You won't have to attach any hashes to get your tweets into the stream... that will be handled automatically.

What's a Live Blog Follower?
Many people are disappointed because they won't be able to attend the conference because it is sold out or weren't able to put together the funds to go. By registering for the Live Blog Follower ticket, EndUserSharePoint.com will keep you in the loop with reminders, live streams, tweets.. anything we can think of to help you be involved during the days of the conference. (I'll also be including some "download surprises", also known as Digital Swag, for this group so they can be part of the swag wagon crew, too.)

Thanks for volunteering.

Udpate: I have activated the live twitter stream so that we can start archiving the comments and instructions coming in through the various twitter feeds. Follow along:
